SINGLET (UNIFORM)

An SJW issued singlet is required to wrestle in the tournaments and must match the club/school that your wrestler is attending.  SJW offers these at time of registration. 

 

 

HEAD GEAR

SJW does not require head gear.

 

 

PRACTICE GEAR

Wrestlers may wear shorts, t-shirt or singlet to practice.

WRESTLING SHOES OR CLEAN TENNIS SHOES

SJW does not supply wrestling shoes.  Clean tennis shoes or wrestling shoes that are not being worn outside are required, in order to keep our mats clean and safe from damage.  If clean tennis shoes or wrestling shoes are not available, the wrestler will have to wrestle in their socks.   This is not suggested as it will be a disadvantage for them.
